Max R. JohnsonMax R. Johnson

Dr. Johnson opened Retina Consultants in 1988. A Fargo native, he received his pharmacy degree from North Dakota State University and completed a postgraduate hospital pharmacy residency in South Carolina. He is a graduate of the University of North Dakota Medical School and completed his ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, followed by a surgical and medical retina fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts. Dr. Johnson is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member in several retina societies.

Craig M. MasonCraig M. Mason

Dr. Mason graduated from State University of New York, Stony Brook, New York, in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree in 1979 from Yale University School of Medicine and completed his internship at Waterbury Hospital Health Center, Waterbury, Connecticut, in 1980. Dr. Mason completed his Ophthalmology Residency in 1983 at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. He was awarded a Vitreoretinal Fellowship and teaching position at Tulane University Medical Center, New Orleans, Lousiana, which he completed in 1985. Dr. Mason was an attending ophthalmologist at the Marshfield Clinic and a member of the medical staff at Saint Joseph's Hospital, both in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Dr. Mason is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Mason is also a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retinal Specialists.
