Registration is now open for the Surgical Case Review 2023.

Optometrists and technicians welcome! In-person or virtual attendance options.
This year, we are offering in-person or virtual attendance for ODs.
Please note, we have limited space available for in-person attendees.
Technicians can attend virtually this year as well and earn JCAHPO and OPS CEUs with paid attendance.

Total Cost to Attendees: $27.50
To comply with federal statutes, Retina Consultants can no longer offer CE conferences at no cost to attendees. We have implemented a $10 fee per credit hour for this and future conferences. Thank you for your understanding.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

Secondary Intraocular Lenses: A Retina Perspective
Ravi Pandit, MD, MPH
This course will discuss indications and techniques for secondary intraocular lens procedures.
This course will contain surgical videos.

Macular Holes and Other Macular Pathologies
Marina Gilca, MD
This course will discuss macular holes and other tractional macular pathologies, such as vitreomacular traction, myopic maculopathy, including their presentation, classification, treatment considerations, and case reports.

New Treatments in Geographic Atrophy
Ravi Pandit, MD, MPH
This course will outline new treatments for geographic atrophy from clinical trials to clinical application.

SPEAKERS

Marina Gilca, MD
Dr. Gilca received her medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.  She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Montreal in Montreal, followed by a surgical and medical retinal fellowship at Rush University in Chicago, IL.  Dr. Gilca joined Retina Consultants in 2017.
 

Ravi Pandit, MD, MPH
Dr. Pandit received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.  He completed his ophthalmology residency at Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute in Baltimore, followed by a surgical and medical retinal fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.  Dr. Pandit also holds a Masters of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore.  He joined Retina Consultants in 2020.

CE Credits
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of The Council on Optometric Practitioner Education (COPE), the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO), and the Ophthalmic Photographers' Society (OPS) provided by Retina Consultants.
This activity is designated for a maximum of 2.75 hours of continuing education credit.
