Our team remains committed to providing the highest quality of care for both new and existing patients. We appreciate your continued trust and partnership in the care of your patients.

Urgent Referrals

For urgent referrals, we require a phone call to 701-293-9829, option 2 for triage and scheduling.  We ask that you review our Required Information for Urgent Referrals and have all the necessary information available when calling to make the referral.  If the patient needs to be seen within 24 hours of the referral phone call, the patient must be present in your office when the referral call is made.

Routine (Non-Urgent) Referrals

Routine referrals are accepted by fax to 701-205-3460. Please note, these referrals must include referral chart notes, patient demographics, and insurance information.

— Dr. Tyler Looysen is now accepting referrals for all diagnoses.   

Please note that referral acceptance is based on appointment availability. If we are unable to schedule the referral within an appropriate time frame for the diagnosis, we will not be able to accept it and will inform you so the patient can be referred elsewhere.

Triaged referrals for Epiretinal Membranes and Macular Holes

Triaged referrals for epiretinal membranes and macular holes will be handled like eConsults for triaged scheduling. Please email the last chart note, images, patient demographics, and insurance information to econsult@fargoretina.com. Our physician will review the clinical information and we will contact the patient to schedule.

*** At this time, Dr. Marina Gilca is only accepting referrals for surgical diagnoses including dislocated IOL and natural lens, floaters, retained lens, endophthalmitis, retinal detachment, epiretinal membrane, and macular hole.  She will also accept referrals for suspicious nevus.

*** Dr. Max Johnson is not accepting new patient referrals.
